Bosch Pir Help

Featured Replies

Hi

I have a Bosch P1 Blueline PIR sensor.

I am totaly confused as to what wire goes where.

I have the + & - going to the Aux +- on the panel.

I have a eurosec cpx panel.

I need to know where to wire the 4k7 and 6k8 and 12k resistors to make it EOL.

I have attached the drawing with the sensor.

Can someone please advise.

cheers

PUBLIC FORUM

the detector indicates if its range has been reduced or blocked etc

leaving this to the mods, please delete if to much info.....thanks

the 6k8 goes across the n/c, with the 4k7 going from one terminal of the n/c to one terminal of the tamper.....if you have the manual it explains it very clearly in there.....

remember the zone that you are not using, if you are using EOL , then they need to have a 4k7 across them......if in any doubt get a pro in. :)

MODERATORS

I had received a genuine reply from a member, containing a revised drawing of mine, clearly showing me how i needed to wire my pir.

But now you have removed it!

Can you please explain why ?

This is the DIY section is it not?

Can you please place the drawing back ?

If not can the person who posted it please email it to me ?

I had set today aside to work on this an now i cant.

Also the pir manual is not clear, thats why im seeking advise from a diy forum.

As for coments like "get a pro in" , im sure im more then capable if wiring it in, i just need to know how.

Moderator please advise.

Ok, taking the advise from KKA, that would leave the + and - to go to the Aux power, but where do the other two zone wires connect to ?

Do they go on the NC contacts ? if so does it matter which one goes to + or Minus on the zones ?

This also leaves one tamper not connected, and the DA terminal not connected, is this right ?

Also the pir manual is not clear ..............

the manual that came with the panel might be a better place to look (hint hint LOL)

Thats the problem the terminals indcated in the manual are named different to the ones actually on the PIR. LOL

Is there anyone who can help ?

the 6k8 goes across the n/c YOUR NC AND NC, with the 4k7 going from one terminal of the n/c YOUR NC to one terminal of the tamper YOUR T.....if you have the manual it explains it very clearly in there.....

THEN CONNECT ONE CORE OF YOUR CABLE INTO THE NC TERMINAL THAT HAS ONLY ONE RESISTOR IN IT. AND CONNECT THE OTHER CORE TO THE T TERMINAL THAT HAS NOTHING CONNECTED INTO IT
