February 15, 200818 yr comment_190636 i going to study hotel managment and quite interest about how the cctv works, anyone know normally for hotel cctv the record they kept for how long? thks! hi ting123, hotels (or otherwise) it will depend on the budget and level of security required, a small hotel setup may only record a few days, big swankey systems covering the included casino maybe several months, and with archiving years. it will also matter if the system is unattended only used for noticed incidents like stolen handbag from reception, or overseen by security 24/7 toting machine guns. so you see there is no real 'blueprint' for hotels, its down to the consultant engineer (or more often than not aka the odd job man). regs alan If you think education is difficult, try being stupid!!!!
