bobwells
Probably a naive question from a beginner but can I send the 12volt power supply through cat 5 as well as the video signal? Will this affect the picture or (on a comparatively short run) is it better to use the coax with a separate power cable? I know that baluns will be necessary with utp. bobwells
Thanks for your replies guys. It's about forty feet on an outside wall and there are apartments upstairs so psu can't really be local.
