I along with another were made redundent on friday late afternoon. By 2.30 today i was straight back in with another job. I see what you all mean about the experience helping a great deal.

well done for finding a job so quick - part of it is attitude, ie not letting losing your job get to you. you did the right thing going out there and finding a new post so quick.

(ps it happened to me about 16 years ago i was totally gob smacked and my brain would,nt function, my wife made me make a list of who i knew in the trade,ex engineers who were in charge of departments etc, where they worked and then get yellow pages out and start ringing (this was a friday lunchtime), by 4.30 i had a new job to start on the Monday. (it was the second on the list incidentally!! - two years later i moved to number three on the list!!).)
