I thinkI have a plan.

Nice lady called Kirsty at Norbain suggested a simpler and cheaper solution.

Thanks for your input.

TB

well go on then, WHAT simpler and cheaper solution - or have we all got to ring the nice Kirsty?

We install ANPR systems.......

I've posted about them before: http://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/comm...st&p=163109

If you want guaranteed results use Derwent: http://www.derwentcctv.com/home/index.php?...5&show=true

alternatively contact Norbain and ask them about the Vista ANPR software.

Agree about the derwent cameras. Top notch performance. 99% hit rate over 8 lanes. Has anyone else invented their own method of evaluation for NAAS 3 compliance?

PIPS Spike II is the mutz nutz.

I simply must know what Kirsty said. Come on Tallbloke! <_<

I went up into the attic...I found a Stradavarius & a Picasso. Unfortunately.....

Stradavarius couldn't paint, and Picasso made a shocking fiddle.

You cant beat a bit of Derwent for ANPR cameras, all other are just boys in a mans world!!!

They do also produce the Vista ANPR camera as an OEM for Norbain but they told me that they scrimped on a few features to bring the price down so its not on a par with the original.

If you are looking for a system package though, try Videofit at http://www.videofit.co.uk. They have a fab product and Derwent have also designed a camera for them.

Let us know how you get on.

Kirsty suggested a beam pair connected to an LED counter in view of a camera. Less accurate due to the layout but way cheaper to install and serviice.Sorry. Just got a wii.
