A1 Omnicron 7000

Featured Replies

Hi, I have a A1 Omnicron 7000 which was installed in the house when I moved in some 3 years ago.

It works just fine and I have the User operating instructions and the Engineer Programming instructions.

After 3 years, my wife wants to re-decorate the hallway, my question is this.

How do I de-activate the unit so I can remove the front cover in order to remove the screws holding it to the wall without it going off and waking the Neighbours?

Any help greatfully received.

Remove the front cover and it will create an internal tamper fault - enter your code to silence it.

When you have finished replace the front cover and reset the system.

ps:they still made those 3 yrs ago?

My thoughts also, I think I saw a new one about 1990!
