tinnitus Posted September 30, 2007 Share Posted September 30, 2007 lads i noticed on friday my tax code had changed to 10L. i checked it out and it has beem like this since the start of the financial year. i was told i need to call my local tax office to sort it out. anyone had same problem? Have you had a notification letter regarding your code from the Inland Revenue? Not quite correct there. A bit of resonsibiliy on both sides. If the Tax code is low due to vehicle(s) benefit in kind, then the company must inform Inlnd Revenue each quarter who is driving what vehicle. End of each year they should send you a P11D stating what benefits you received. That is what the Tax Man will work from.
