August 6, 200718 yr comment_174361 Thanks for your comments and suggestions. Despite being installed by a professional several years ago, the alarm has proved unreliable with many false alarms. I appreciate that you cannot disclose details of how to uninstall this system, but I would welcome confirmation that opening the control box will/will not trigger the tamper alarm.Many thanks in advance. Apollo it should but, if its not installed right it may not, impossible to say. As angus said, just try it. remember, your code should always stop the noise unless you have lost mains for a while. do you have ladders? it may be worth getting an engineer out, 10-15 Min's will have it disabled, another hour may have it fully operational and the premises totally protected, along with any operational questions answered. oh, pick a good time of day and tell the neighbours what you are up to.
