Ts690r Engineer Reset

Featured Replies

Looking to add 525r remote key fobs to an installed alarm system (Minerva TS690r), however alarm was not installed by myself (previous homeowner got alarm company to install it).

On checking the installation manual it would appear that the engineer code could be reset by shorting the no defaulting info please. I tried this but could not get anywhere - are there additional steps not listed in the manual to perform (entering master user code) in order to get this to work?

My only other options are either to track down the original installer or perform a full factory reset and reprogram the system (time consuming but possible).

Thanks,

Jim.

hi Jim,

it's a site policy no defaulting info is allowed to be given in the public area's, read the instructions carefully always observe safety proceedures as there are lethal mains voltages within the panel.

if all else fails call a local engineer, who could also service your system while retoring your codes and advise on any upgrades you might need.
