July 2, 200718 yr Author comment_171374 The zone needs to be programmed as unused or shorted out with a 4k7 resistor thanks for that jnealon done both, (programmed + resistor) pir problem gone.but guess what i cannot set the system.keeps saying tamper. cabinet tamper.open I checked the tamper switch on the circuit board in the cabinet with a test meter and the switch is ok .. Think this an old intermittant problem with my alarm .. any ideas.. apart from the one i am thinking of that involves a big hammer... July 3, 200718 yr comment_171385 Tha cabinet tamper and the Aux tamper are both the same circuit. You should hear the spring click when you put the cover back on the panel. Also short out the Aux tamper to see if that clears it. If it does then check that loop with a meter to find the open circuit. www.realsecurity.ie Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/19822-aritech-cs-450-pir/#findComment-171385 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
