May 21, 200719 yr comment_166936 I hope the experts can help with this. I have an Intellisense 800L burglar alarm system, which was installed in 2000. When I shut off the mains lighting circuit the alarm is activated and the control panel (touch pad) goes dead (i.e. no lights). This has just started happening recently. It seemed to me like the battery had died, so I replaced it with another, fully charged, 12V battery of slightly larger capacity (3.3 Ah versus 2.8 Ah), and also replaced the 1A fuse with a new one (just as a precaution), but the system still seems Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/19109-intellisense-800l-failing-despite-new-battery/ Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 May 21, 200719 yr comment_166952 most panels have a fuse to the battery on the pcb, you may find that this fuse has blown, if so replace only with the same type and rating. The opinions I express are mine and are usually correct! (Except when I'm wrong)(which I'm not) Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/19109-intellisense-800l-failing-despite-new-battery/#findComment-166952 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
