Hi All

Would appreciate any help on the following:

Home alarm (Citadel XR2) has started beeping every 5 minutes. Read the manual which states this is a reminder for a service is due. However, I can't get in contact with the person who installed it two years ago (previous owner of the house had it installed)! At my old house, we had the alarm for over 10 years without a service and never had any problems, so I was wondering if there is a way of stopping the beeping or will I need to find an engineer to get it serviced?

Thats why you have a problem now, alarms need to be looked after and service regularly, best advice is to get a professional engineer to service the system.
