Guest Guest_Terry
I have been in my house 5 years and last night the internal bell on my system started buzzing loudly. The only way to shut it up was to disconnect the battery and then put up with the alarm going off -15 mins. We have checked that the battery is charged but now it has been put back, we can only set the alarm in mains failure mode. The unset light is flashing constantly. Its as though the system doesn't recognise that mains power is connected. Can anyone help!!! norman
Hi Terry, Firstly be carefull, mains hurts!! , It could be a couple of things ranging from a popped fuse to a transformer that has given up the ghost. Personally i would get a local company (Yellow Pages) to give a quote for repairing it, or alternatively you may like to post your postcode on here and I'mn sure if there's anyone local to you they may help. Kind regards... Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool. Guest Guest_Terry
Thank you Norman. Now that the expert has gone back to work (the husband) you'll be pleased to know that I've contacted a professional. i.e the person that fitted it in the first place!
