securicor granley / initial

Featured Replies

I have just moved into a new building with a Securicor granly system installed.

It it quite a large box with a key pad on the left and a key to lock the keypad.

it does have an Ititial shorrock sticker on the box. unable to find any model number - apart from a valiant board in it.

The problem is that i don't have a code for it.

Is their a way of reprograming the alarm?

Thanks for reading

how do you default the system?

It it that complicated?

antone got instruction or tell me how to do it?

Thanx

Im afraid this site doesnt give out installation manuals.

I suggest you call a local engineer to come and default the system for you or advice you on your security needs.

With that panel its quite complicated, if your not an ex Securicor engineer or an Initial engeer dont waste your time!

I suggest you contact your local Initial branch or its a case of rip it out and start again, as the panel is basically obsolete i would choose the latter option.

As the above post says this panel is obsolete. I would consider starting from scratch. Spare parts are few and far between.

As these panels are Securicor home made hardly anyone will be able to reprog them

I sugest you contact your local Initial Branch

Stu8 Initial Eng..

Even then going by the Genesis it may not power back up with defaults. I would rip it out. The only thing is you may need to rewire if there is white mli boxes about the place.

cheers Kev
