Hi

My sister in law has an ADE Optima Compact alarm fitted in her house, it was fitted when she bought the house,

she has had the code from the previous owners and the alarm has worked fine ever since she has lived there.

But, last night the alarm system went berserk, and eventually seemed to lock itself, the power light is lit, the keys are lit,

but the keys do nothing, the siren went quiet after 20 mins, it has not gone off since then and i do not want to look at it until i have as much info as i can get about it

The previous owners did not leave any paperwork for the alarm, i have downloaded the user manual from this forum,

but cannot find a wiring diagram anywhere, does anyone have one to help solve the problems

Sorry mate, but the info you are after is in the engineers manual and this site does not supply them.

Maybe a bellbox tamper fault if the bell stopped itself after 20 minutes, also a bell tamper can lock the panel out also until rectified. You may need to get someone in to fix it.
