Last night we had a power cut late at night and even though the alarm was not set, it went off. I silenced the alarm but the internal sounder would not switch off until the 20 min shutdown. Power was restored during the early hours, but the light on the external bell box is flashing and will not turn off. The control panel will not accept any commands. There are 5 zones, 1,2,3 and 5 are lit, 4 is flashing. The unset light is lit and the tamper light unlit. How do I re-set the system? Dave Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
FASTCAR Posted March 9, 2004 Share Posted March 9, 2004 Dave, The panel has crashed, probably helped by an old battery. Remove mains power , open panel , remove battery , apply mains , (panel should wake up .. enter code to silence) fit (new) battery, close panel , apply mains.
