Accord XPC

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have recently installed an Accord XPC panel, when powered up for the first time the LCD keypad was showing cE & solid tamper symbol, i know that cE stands for call engineer, but since it won't be monitered or serviced by anyone other than myself, can anyone help with how to to reset the panel?

Thanks

T'is quite simple, just power down the panel, power it back up and hold star and hash keys down together for at least 2 seconds until the keypad bleeps twice. This will reset uses and engineer codes but leave the engineer programming as it was. Default codes are 1234 (user) and 9090 (engineer). The manuals are available from this site if you need them.

Forgot to add that you need to hold down both keys within 5 seconds of powering the panel up. Oops.

to reset it go into engineers mode then out of it that will clear it, if not you have a tamper fault on it. if you need a manual let me know.

cheers

Gary

Sorry to but in, but that will not reset anything, the only thing similar is if you press # and * within 5 seconds of leaving engineer mode then this will reset the panel, also pressing any key within those original 5 seconds will extend the time by another 5 seconds.
