Reson8 To Galaxy 2-20 Connections

Recommended Posts

I have a Honeywell Galaxy 2-20 panel with the following connections:

Bell+12V, 0V, T, (Picture of a bell), (Picture of a sun - presumably strobe)

I have 2 ADE Reson8 bell boxes with the following connections:

RTN-, Hold Off+, Hold Off-, Trig -, STB -

Does anybody know how I should connect the bellboxes to the panel please?

Thanks for the reply djrock.

I've never worked on a Galaxy panel before either. I also have an idea of how to wire the bells but I'm not sure and would certainly value a second opinion. I'm slightly perplexed because I bought the Reson8 bells specifically for this job as I thought they would be compatible with the panel (they are now a Honeywell product - taken over from ADE) but unfortunately they still have the old ADE packaging and associated wiring convention.

I have everything else installed - this is the only thing that's holding me up.

Could you give the advice privately outside the forum?

Can anyone else help?

ps I would call Honeywell but their technical advice line isn't available at weekends, and I was really hoping to get this sorted today.
