Only used powermax 2.Its good 3. Who knows in SA 4.The usual, clean detectors check panel batteries should last at least 3 yrs in detectors. 5. All parts are available, det batteries here cost us about 3.00ukp 6. Nice panel to use easy for the end user and you can run about with the RKP if so required. You do however have to hard wire the SAB unit but that is only to a local AC outlet (Ex g/f was from SA and i forget if you have 240/110 outlets). If you are in the "trade" then Honeywell do a good RF kit as well. Hope this helped a bit. Parts readily availible as well...Batteries are the lithium type which Visonic say will last for 3yrs but Ive seen them lasting 5 +++ yrs although this is not good practice.
