Hi , I have had the Accenta 8 mini alarm installed for over 5 years without any problems but just recently after the major storms we had last week the alarm has stopped working. The keypad remains lit however when trying to set the alarm the tones no longer sound when pressing the keypad and the alarm will not set. I have checked the fuses in the main panel all of which are ok and there is obviously mains power going to the board (checked with meter).

The storms caused numerous power cuts to the system last week is it possible the main panel is faulty?

Just wondered if anybody has any ideas?

You could try removing all power from the panal, replace the battery and re-power the panel, you will need to enter your code to silence the alarm
