If you join the BSI you can get a members discount and if you intend to join an approval body, then you will require to have original copies of the standards appropriate to the area work you undertake.

The BSI take their copyright protection very seriously and i would advise that you either purchase the originals or you could try and get one on loan from your local libary.

Ok, I see..

If you had 10 latching seismics connected to a single zone, I take it the panel has to then unlatch them after one has triggerd in order for the zone to be able to rearm - or is it a case of once one detector has triggerd, that zone is then ignored until the panel is disarmed?

Maybe it's a dumb question, but I am learning here!

...then posted to say they had done it for £110!

Just wonderd how they connected the new PIR up

(Did they run a new cable from the panel, or connect two PIR's to the same zone)
