November 24, 200619 yr comment_133778 Hi Apologies if this has been covered already, but I couldn't find anything using the search tool. I wondered what people's opinions were of alarm control panels controlled by remote key fobs. I can see it would be convenient, but what happens if somebody nicks your keys and key fob and knows where you live? Kinda defeats the object of having an alarm. I know the fobs can be deactivated but it still leaves a window of opportunity before you know the keys are missing. November 25, 200619 yr comment_133867 We only use prox if we cannot fit a shunt lock to start entry, also prox is totally pointless in a single office type environment as an intruder will never leave the entry route. The opinions I express are mine and are usually correct! (Except when I'm wrong)(which I'm not) Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/13731-key-fobs/#findComment-133867 Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
