February 9, 200422 yr comment_7138 Hi all, I'm over-run with 9500 bits, what bits do you want? i've got: Pcb's, housings, transformers, k/pads, lim's, even relay boards and plug on digicoms. as for remote keypads, what software version has it got? as there are several different k/pads for the 9500 (all look and work the same, just software has to match the k/pad) hope this helps regards Bellman Service Engineer and all round nice bloke ) The views above are mine and NOT those of my employer. February 10, 200422 yr comment_7201 Bellman, Sounds good stuff!! The panel reports when entering Engineering mode "v2.26 3-OCT-88" The main EEPROM on the main board (Which was blown when I got the panel, but I managed to get a replacement from Scantronic many years ago!) has the following: - 44319 4-10-88 IC Type 27C512 9500 MPLX MK2 I think there is a problem with my power supply board, as on removing the battery, the alarm does not report this - from the manual, it looks as if it should) The PSU has a sticker bearing the following 53092 8687K Basically I am interested in anything that will upgrade the alarm (Like a newer main PCB for example) Where abouts are you located - I am in Orpington, Kent. Thanks! Sparks... February 16, 200422 yr comment_7442 Do you know if the eeprom in the panel is the same as the eeprom in a keypad? For example, say I had a keypad with newer software programmed (I have seen one on eBay with version 4.2 (my panel is 2.26)), Could I just copy that eeprom onto the eeprom that is in the main panel? (using an eeprom programmer of course!) Thanks!
