Hi there - I inherited a Securit 700L system with my current home which seems to work fine. However, when doing some recent electrical work I needed to turn of the mains - this resulted in the external sounder being triggered approx. 1-2 minutes later. Is this a fault? and is there a way I can stop this from the control panel/board or do I have to access the sounder box? The main battery is rather old - could this be the problem? Thanks in advance for any help.

Your system requires a new rechargeable standby battery (usually 2 - 3 Ah).
