I have an Optima 2 plus alarm system fitted, for which I have no information (the previous owners never used it) I would like to know how to set it up from scratch, I removed the front panel, in an attempt at finding manufacture information and of course triggered the tamper alarm., after rmoving mains and battery power the outside siren continued to go off, so I cut the wire to it.I has been sitting without power for a while now and am keen to try and get it going.

Get a local installer in, he will be able to repair the system and set it up for you.

I would imagine the system is long overdue for a service. From what you have said this would seem an easier route to go than trying to do it yourself, however the manufacturers can be contacted at ADE Website and you will be able to get the manual there.
