There is nothing wrong with these alarm, they are a Very good low cost alternative.

I take it you have never inbstalled one then?? Or you would not say this.

Nope. interestingly theres nothing on Esp's literature to say to what stanadard they conform to just "European standard 868MHz" so thats the frequency stated what about a standard for the controls ect...

Hi Guys,

I'm glad to say that I'm one happy bunny today :D

I had indeed got the PIRs upside down and the beams were looking at the ceiling :oops:

Now I've got that sussed out and with the help of you chaps I know that nothing will happen in the first 4 minutes of arming the system. I can arm it, go through the 30-second exit delay and then come back 5 minutes later to open the door and straight away be greeted by the 30-second entry delay tones, just as it should be.
