After a little help here, my daughter has just moved into her first house which is fitted with a ADTGalaxy control panel,she has the user code from the previous owner so she can set/unset the system,she wants to change the code but cannot because there are no manuals,can any body help.

look on the main panel there will be a small sticker next to the top screw with the model EG 8, 16+,18 ect

Dont know how long it has been installed,shes just moved into the house and the system was monitored up utill she moved in but is not at the moment, she just wants to change the user code.

I think some of the guys might be refering to the fact it may have been on contract as a monitored system.

If this was the case when it goes of it needs an engineer reset.

Also it may not have an external sounder, just a dummy cover
