I have an Optima G3 which I installed and has ben fine till lately. All Ok and when the alarm is 'UNSET' seems to go into a chime mode on channel 2.

I have the test instructions and when I go into ALAM TEST mose I expect the DAY amnd TAMPER lights but only get TAMPER

If I do POWER UP RESET it seems to clear but has happened twice now

I bow to the experts - any ideas or is it a new box soon

follow these steps:

1. have syetem in unset mode

2. press RESET

3. press CHIME

4. ZONE 2 should be iluminated

5. press 2 on the keypad

6. ZONE 2 LED should go out

7. press RESET twice

8. now in UNSETMODE activate ZONE 2, IT SHOULD NOT CHIME.
