Hi,

I'm looking to install an additional keypad in the garage of a house with an Optima 2 Plus alarm. Can anyone recommend a spares supplier and/or alternative keypad that could help? From an earlier posting someone suggested www.texe.com but they're unable to help unfortunately.

The only supplier of ADE equipment is\was ADE. Texecom would be of absolutely no use whatsoever.

The Optima was discontinued a long time ago so your only chance of finding another keypad is to look for a second hand one.

Thanks. Is it unlikely that a keypad for something like the Optima XM XL would work? They still seem to have parts available.

No this keypad will not work on the 2+.

I have a 2+ keypad in stock but it is second hand and the back plate is cracked but it is in working order.

If you want it i would be happy to send it to you if you pay the postage and packing.

It might be worth your while updating your control panel, PIr's etc for all it will cost.
