Crash Reset

Featured Replies

 I have moved into a new house with an accenta 8 alarm panel, i do not know the engineer code and want to set zone 8 to fire, a engineer manual i down loaded says i need the engieers code to do this, so i need to know how to "Crash" or "hard re set" the system to fatory settings.

Thanks

Chris

on some panels if you cross the reset jumpers they reset the codes to factory reset for a short time enableing you to put the default eng code in and change it

 how will know whick jumpers are the correct ones to cross, i need a manual, to find out how to change the engineer code if that works too.

is the panel led or lcd display if led i'am stuck too but if lcd it should be under change access/user codes then scroll through to eng code put manufacturers default in then new code i think, but ive not been in the game long so dont quote me

9 + 19 must be the jumpers to cross i beleive but i'm not sure its the only thing i can think of if your still in here i'am popping to the chat room :)

It gives you all the info you need in the Engineer Manual.
