I have 5 zones but when trying to set the alarm, LED 6 illuminates as though Zone 6 has been left open and hence the alarm will not set. Any ideas?

Hi ,

Short term fix , omit zone 6 .(user guide available at www.texe.com)

Then either get in an engineer , or open the panel and check that the link is still in zone 6 . Is it possible that an extra device could have been added , but not written on the plan?. ^_^

You were right. When I opened the Control Panel there was indeed wiring to Zone 6 which I finally tracked down and closed. Everything works fine now.
