January 12, 200422 yr comment_5887 I have recently moved in to a house with an accenta alarm system. The problem is I have two dogs and They set off the alarm. We have had an alarm engineer out and he said the only thing we can do is change the sensors to pet sensative ones which cost £40 each. Can anyone think of an alternative or is this the best solution. thanks Link to comment https://www.thesecurityinstaller.co.uk/community/topic/1092-accenta-problems-please-help/ Share on other sites Share on LinkedIn Share on X Share on Facebook {lang="reddit_text" Share via email Share on Pinterest
 January 12, 200422 yr comment_5900 Not much else you can do,except keep the dogs in an area that has no pirs in it.Pet detectors are a lot more reliable than they used to be,as long as it isnt a couple of big scooby doo's they'll be fine. January 12, 200422 yr comment_5908 you could omit the guilty zones so as the alarm does,nt go off or change the pirs for alternative protection ie break glass detectors or door contacts but the easiest is what you were advised by the engineer THE BLACK KNIGHT "Any comments / opinions posted are my opinion only and do not represent those of my employer or Company."
