I have recently moved in to a house with an accenta alarm system. The problem is I have two dogs and They set off the alarm.

We have had an alarm engineer out and he said the only thing we can do is change the sensors to pet sensative ones which cost £40 each.

Can anyone think of an alternative or is this the best solution.

Not much else you can do,except keep the dogs in an area that has no pirs in it.Pet detectors are a lot more reliable than they used to be,as long as it isnt a couple of big scooby doo's they'll be fine.

you could omit the guilty zones so as the alarm does,nt go off or change the pirs for alternative protection ie break glass detectors or door contacts but the easiest is what you were advised by the engineer

Shop arround you might get a better deal.
