Hi everybody

my house alarm has been checked and maintained last year.

every thing was perefct til we went on holidays and set up it and leaving the keys to next door with a user code to use it to check some times inside the house.

when we back, I have found the display showing En. and the next door has forgot about the user code when he was in the house last time.

I have tried to put the master and user code to reset. no chance.

I have called the the personne in charge of maintenance . no response in the mobile phone.

I have read the booklet, no chance .

the small booklet call

Gardtec 300/500 series.

Gartec 360/580.

if any body can help please

and thanks in advance

Engineer reset required or service timer timed out, he probably forgot the code and created keepad tamper. ask your exististing engineer to set it up for customer reset and or take the timer off.

If you can't get hold of him anymore post where you are and i'm sure someone on here will help.

Agreed. Engineer reset required.

Most likely because as you say, he forgot about the code last time and the panel may be set up to require an engineer reset instead of user when this happens.

Unless something else has happened, sounds like a detector/keypad tamper to be honest

Call your engineer or post you location and someone may be able to assist you.

Regards,

Ranger

The above is my personal opinion and not that of my employer or anyone else.
