Hi Spaceman - Welcome!

There is a U.S. company that does an AD to Pelco if that helps....

I'm not sure if you can get them through distribution or direct though

I'm pretty sure that this discussion's been through on another thread?

The ADTT16e (there are a number of Sensormatic Trackers) uses SensorNet RS485 data to communicate with the dome. Unfortunatly, there are major differences between conventional RS485 and Sensornet (to do with the driver chip).

You won't be able to convert one to the other. Your best bet (if you really HAVE to use VCL dome) is to remove the tracker and go for something else.

If you've diffent types of domes on site I'd reccomend going for something like BBV. They have protocol converts for almost every dome type you can think of (Senormatic will be driven using half RS422).

Alternativly go for the Baxall ZTX7 and keyboard. Their matrix can control the Sensormatic dome up the coax (provided it's an UltraVII).

Hope this helps

Matt
