Can you give us a bit more detail about what your requirements are? e.g. what areas you are trying to look at; indoors; outdoors? Also, why are you looking at a PC based setup?

What cameras have you currently got and are you aiming to reuse these?

I am hoping to get a couple of cctv cameras that can link and record onto PC for outdoor use back garden got a sodium flood light and 500 watt halogen over back door so very good light conditions front not so bright just porch light. Current CCTV wireless **** on back and a wired B+W telemetry Camera on front

I'd say you're unlikely to get an outdoor camera within your budget. If you can arrange to site the camera in a window, you could try something like the Axis 206 or 207. The Axis 206 has a current RRP of
