Adding A Rio To A Galaxy 60 Panel

I have a Galaxy 60 panel with 2 keypads, and have the "group" option enabled therefore having 4 groups.The 4 groups are all used at the moment for different areas of the building. If I were to add a RIO to the system would that give me extra groups or just extra room for inputs/output to each group in the system?? :hmm: I know this is not a DIY system, but I have the necessary codes etc, and have so far done what I think is a good job on installing it (even if I do have some knowledge of electronics!!)

The Galaxy 60 only supports 4 groups so adding an extra RIO will just add an extra 8 zones and 4 outputs, although these can be programmed for use with any group on the system. :)
