Position Of Remote Keypad

I am sure I have been told that the RKP should not be visible from outside the protected premises - so that a would-be intruder can not see the status of the system before he breaks in. Is this a requirement under the Euro regs? Was it a requirement under BS4737?

I thought it was just the status couldn't be viewed from outside, so if you can see the keypad it needs to not show the set\unset status?

EN regs say that the status should not be viewable by an unauthorised person, however good practice has always been to avoid the keypad being viewable from outside of the property.

It also had to be out of sight so you couldn't observe the code being entered, not an issue with pace unsetting.
