Siemens SPC wireless zones
Yep. Optional off wall tamper. Not sure why the prev co hadn't linked it out as there's no off wall tamper on it!

Galaxy 48 zone omits when setting
Hi all, Yet another post...had a customer call today who has a galaxy 48 installed on a commercial unit, they've said that everytime they've gone to set it recently it's showing that there's 1 omit. Popped over to have a look (service done at the same time since it was booked for next week) nothing in log to show omitted zones, took the omit attribute off the offending zone and it's still showing 1 omit when setting! Tried a default and re-upload config, tried a restart...no luck. Never had this problem before. Probably missing something obvious!

Siemens SPC wireless zones
We have taken over a few signet/spc systems now. This is the first time I've used one with wireless zones, but they are great panels. It takes a while to get used to them but we like them. And yes, monitoring everything via web portal

Siemens SPC wireless zones
Yeah, thought that might be the case. I'll have a play and see if I can wake it up when I'm there tomorrow, since it's only the one zone that's wireless it's very tempting to run a cable to it instead and put a wired contact there!

Siemens SPC wireless zones
Signal strength is fine as the contact is next to the wireless module which is built into the keypad

Siemens SPC wireless zones
Hi all, Taking over an SPC at the moment and it has one wireless zone on it, the zone status shows as 'disconnected' about a minute after learning it on, the customer said that they had the same issue before. Battery is ok and signal is fine, any ideas? Ta

texecom premier 24 bug?
I thought so too, but both are doing it at random intervals. At the moment expander 1 is at 14v with 20 network errors and expander 2 is at 957v with no network errors. Could be both, would be strange if it was

texecom premier 24 bug?
Got a site with an old premier 24, wintex appears to be showing 957v at the expander voltage, going out to it on Monday to figure out why that would be. Alarm cables aren't anywhere near power and the system has been serviced regularly since installed. I've attached some screenshots of wintex showing 14v and then 957v a few minutes later, the panel doesn't even know and just carries on! Guessing this is a bug of some sort, network errors jump around too!

texecom premier elite pcb pillars
Hi all, Got a job with an elite 24 on, the pcb is being swapped in a couple of weeks for a 48 due to expansion of the site. Any idea what size pcb pillars we'll need to fit the 48 into the metal case?

GD48 keypad addresses
Just been programming a GD48 up for a panel replacement tomorrow and I've noticed 2 extra keypad addresses in menu 58. I don't recall seeing them before when on a GD48. 2 keypads that are on the system are addresses 10 and 11 but further along I have 50 and 51 too? Max readers in the keypads or addresses for virtual keypads? Ta
