Hi, I am hoping that someone may be able to tell me how I go about configuring Two Texecom Veritas keypads. I have fitted a new Texecom R8 panel and two keypads for my son. Both keypads were wired straight back to the panel and not daisy chained,so that when I applied power I assumed that according to the installer manual they would automatically configure their different addresses.This did not happen and I was not able to operate the alarm from either keypad.I disconnected one and the alarm worked fine.It would appear that both keypads have defaulted to address one,causing the problem. My question how do I configure them separately to 1 and 2. I know what the book says but this has done my head in and I cant remember my name ! I no its a bit dim but if I go into the menu and key in 09 it shows 1 how do I change to 2. I presume I use the keypad numbers somehow but I am at a loss. Grateful for any help.

Yes I think it is Lyntech and I emailed them but got no reply. I think I will tell my son that it may be better to change the the lot. for the replies.

I use CPC and have checked but no sign of the make, from what you say sounds like it may be better to change the panel and keypad.

Hi, I am hopeful that someone may be able to assist me with locating a Nexus 8 remote keypad. My son has just moved into his new house and the house is fitted with a nexus 8 alarm panel and has a remote keypad in the side entrance to the house. This is fine when exiting and entering the property but if you want to set the alarm whilst in the house ie whilst up stairs and omit zones the keypad being in the side passage way this makes it impracticable. So I am intending to fit a second keypad by the stairs. I have attempted to search online in an attempt to buy one but cannot find one. Does anyone know of a supplier.? Regards.
