I do like texecom, but I do like Risco, but whos best?............... Theres only one way to find out........................................

HKC had issues as per another thread when customer disarmed system it armed after udl.
So that means the system was disarmed overnight... Of a break in did occur what would happen?
Texecom will bring all their software flash blah blah!
Risco has had problems but for the wireless market they are up there with the best.
If the system is set up right then there should be 0% callbacks
All systems are set up 100% right, signals strengths are good, background noise is checked, noise threshold set. If a keypad gives you a 80% signal and wont connect what could the problem be ?

I find a failure rate of 30% hard to believe. Have you highlighted this to the manufacturer?
Yea have spoke to them, sent all the defective kit back etc. The faults arnt huge ones, but enough to have customers ringing up saying it isn't working. For example the keypad not connecting to the panel. The ones with problems normally connect 2nd or 3rd try, however if your a customer who has just paid out a wad of cash for new system, you want it to work. As matt said its normally a panel problem.

We have no problems with the cpx, 595s , 600s, etc . I think once its been out a bit longer, and the issues have been resolved it will be a good bit of kit.

I have fitted a lot of these over the past few months, with a call back rate of about 30%. Same problems over and over again. The system has some great features, however the bugs need sorting out.

Has anyone been using these and found problems with the camera pirs having poor signal, keypad not connecting first time, and the panel not sending out test calls on the follow me.
