  1. I don't know many companies that have more than one engineer working on a job except for if and when it's absolutely nessacary, the cost implication I assume is the biggest factor plus the fact there are not too many jobs in the scheme of things that definitively require two separate engineers.

if two engineers are required full stop then it would be nice to think the company has priced it accordingly and allows the correct amount of man power to that specific job (I did mean in an ideal world)

if your undertaking a job that would put you in any kind of risk by doing it alone then as far as I'm concerned you don't do it until help has arrived :)

    thats my two pence worth.

  2. Software like alarm master that manages engineers jobs, customer and system details in full as well as stock management, sales and so on.

ive been an avid user of AM but dont like it so now we are looking to replace this with new software altogether but wondered what people use and find good, also most importantly including the pda or mobile phone compatibility.

  3. I have been using Alarm Master but in all honesty its a nightmare, keeps freezing up and have experienced a whole world of small niggles with it.

Not heard of System 8 before ? any good ?

Whats peoples thought on Cash ?

  4. Hi,

I'm now selling up the last few bits of stock I have which if bought on trade would be approx £1000.00 so to anyone who wants it I will accept £600 which includes free delivery to anywhere in the uk.

It's mainly intruder alarm stock along with some Bpt equipment all brand new and unused including new Texecom Richochet devices

A full list can be provided for serious enquiries only.

    Thanks
