Hi,
Im not a fitter but have a good knowledge of electronics and diy, just a bit puzzled, can anyone advise...

I inherited an accord xpc alarm with my flat, I disabled it and removed it for a full plaster and skimming of walls and ceiling. Now I have the chance to refit I have found the original bell box has been damaged from being stored in our garage.

Reading online the pyronix deltabell seemed a suitable replacement. When I removed out the main panel, door sensors and pirs, I just cut the cables still attached and then when it came time to refit I just ran new core and reattached using the same colour combos.

Wiring at the panel for the sounder was as follows...

Bell + = brown
Bell - = blue
Strobe = green
BTMP -R = yellow
BTMP - = black

Of course now that I've realised that I threw the original bell box in the bin without writing down connections, I'm now can't remember how these were terminated on the original bell box either.

So With the pyronix I'm presented with the following terminals...

T (from their example diagram seems to be a neg connection)
T
Eng hold
STB
Bell
+ 12v
- 12v

The obvious I've wired as such....

T = black (& link to -12v)
T = yellow
Eng hold =
STB = green
Bell =
+ 12v = brown
- 12v = blue

Confused what should connect to my bell terminal in the sounder and also if these are totally correct ? can anyone advise...

your bell should be connected to bell -
and your 0v (or 12v -) should be connected to a perm 0v, not bell as you currently have it
