LED Posted June 12, 2008 Share Posted June 12, 2008 Can any one tell me if the Prestige PIRs can be used with this panel as the panel states 33 and 10 E.O.L resisitors, but the PIR doesn't it has 2.2 , 4.7 and other figures, but not the R8+ pannel it has the numbers as above. for any help Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

kka Posted June 12, 2008 Share Posted June 12, 2008 correct. you got it just make sure you get the resistor the right way round, as the panel will look for the tamp value as default...if this is not the case it will display a tamp fault on zone xx... kka Posted June 12, 2008 Share Posted June 12, 2008 i apologise , did not know this particular pir came with onboard resistor. just use the jumpers to set the value stated for tamp and alarm..and wire one pair of wires as per diagram. i was thinking you were going to have to hard wire the resistors in... banghead Kevin Scott.
