Guest Teidi
I have installed a HKC syste and all was going well until I tested the panic alarm. The fuse blew and although i changed polarity in the panic alarm it still blows the fuse. having disconnected the the panic alarm I am now unable to access engineering or user mode. i have two keypads and the 4 expansion zones connected with the panic alarm. I havent "installed" the 4 expansion zones or the digi modem board into the system through the key pad yet. I have the 3 lights on the keypads lit up and it beeps every few seconds. Can any body suggest a solution. The installation manual is of no help . Thanks! I have absolutly no idea what a HKC System is but if your pressing a PA button and its meant make the sounders sound but the fude is blowing it could well be because you have incorrectly connected the sounders. Not being familiar with your kit i do however doubt that the PA buttons are connected to the power outputs or the panel whereas the sounder must be, thats where ou need to look.
