March 21, 200620 yr comment_91622 Ok I found it!To exit engineer mode press esc until engineer mode is displayed, then enter the engineer code and press esc once, then it will go back to normal mode. When in Engineer mode tamper alarms will not register so it is important to get it back to normal. Bingo...tried this and it did the job... To get rid of the funny $$ signs ( inverted dollar signs ) and to stop the sensor id'd from displaying when active I pressed the "*" and "#" key simultaneously...not sure what this does but i got my date / time settings back....
