Accenta 6

Featured Replies

Hi,

Just moved into a new home. Yes, you've guessed it, this house comes with an Accenta 6, plus key pad. Now I know we lost power when we first moved in, but we had no alarms.

Anyway, when I got round to looking into our non working alarm.

So I have the "attack" light on the keypad illuminated. I was told what the code is, by the previous owners. And yes, I can get a professional to look into it, but I am thinking of changing the alarm out for a newer wireless alarm, that can call your mobile when attacked. How do I reset my accenta 6?

I have the notes but, nothing appears to work.

Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Thanks

Press 'reset' to reset the alarm condition or check any panic buttons are not latched into alarm around the house it will show a red window instead of a green one. You need a key to reset it but failing that you can unscrew the pins holding it and push the red plastic bit up so the window turns green. Then go back to the panel and press 'reset'! .... I think
