Day Night 1/2" Ccd

Whats the best 1/2" CCD Day Night Camera to be used with near 730nm infrared light at night?

I know that the samsung 1/3" with manual IR cut filter is the best in the 1/3" CCD range, but anything equivilent in the 1/2" range.

No one longer stocks them, not even norbain or gardiner. So are they still possible to get hold of, if so where?

If this is the case, what is an equivilant or better replacement?

Stevey,

I'm just curious but are you looking at a 1/2" camera because you are using a 1/2" format lens?

If you didn't need the slight increase in wide angle coverage, you could instead consider a very decent 1/3" format camera, with an increased magnification available at the maximum telephoto setting, and probably save a few pennies in the process.

Just a suggestion :)
