gardtec 300

Featured Replies

hi my brothers alarm system a gardtec 300 has gone down

he had a power cut and now his security code wont work,

do these have a battery backup, has the battery gone ?

its wired on the circuit for the heating 30amp (surely that cant be right) are these box's fused internally or should it be on its own 5 amp circuit?

anyway i could do with some info on resetting it and getting a new security code in

im an electronics engineer so i arent concerned if i need to do anything inside or on the pcb, i just have zero experience with alarm systems (although whilst studying i designed a basic alarm system)

"questions questions" any help would be appreciated as he hasnt got a heating system at the moment (surely that cant be right again)

regards gary

thanks for the reply i havent been over yet to have a look, going over this afternoon first i will sort the wiring, its definately older then 5 years so i will change the battery and try that code

thanks again

The 300 has many programmable features , these settings should still be held in NVM . From a user point of view , what would you want to set up.Have you tried GardTec for a user guide?.
