tank you very much

i think the best options will be Vicon VDR-208, its got everything i need,

solid build and i can get it reasonably priced from gardiner security

Why do you think DVR's should come with remote controls? Most don't - usually only the cheap end.

Not really, check my supplier DVS and their baseline unit comes with a remote and various hard drive options, ethernet port, usb port , cd burner and more, jog shuttle search and all the size of your average dvd player. Quality is brill. Well worth a check. Phone and ask Shaun for their prices which cant be told on this section but represents god value.

if you've quoted for one of these branded dvrs with a high price tag, get one from cop or ljd without loseing any quality or spec and increase your profit margin instantly. They do have remote control too. But you may need a remote sender if its going in the loft.
