I'll try that. It just seems strange that the keypad sound has now gone and wont respond to keypresses.

Don't know when it was last serviced as it was in when we moved in 18 months ago. It's worked fine up to today which was probably our own fault anyway.

The system has probably never been serviced and may have inadvertantly been defaulted.

I would suggest that you get the system serviced by an engineer, post your location on here and one the engineers on these forums should be able to arrange this for you and advise of the cost.
